Update on The Tech Garden's graFighters: new seed funding & upstate-downstate synergies
Submitted by admin on June 11, 2011 - 8:49pm
Since we last mentioned them, graFighters — a gaming company founded by two students at Syracuse University and now a tenant of our supporting member The Tech Garden — successfully raised $200,000 in seed funding from an overseas investor through kickstarter.com; was accepted into a summer program at the new-venture incubator General Assembly in New York City; and got mentioned on the blog of Fred Wilson, one of the City's leading VCs. For more details, see coverage at the Post-Standard's syracuse.com and at UNY Startups.
