Pixable, which offers social-medial users a fast way to turn online photos into printed memorabilia such as albums, calendars or posters, has graduated from the 160 Varick St. incubator operated by our supporting member NYU-Poly. For more information, please see a news release issued jointly by NYU-Poly and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, which are partners in the incubator along with Trinity Real Estate.
Founded in 2008 by three MIT graduates, the company relocated to New York City and joined the incubator in 2009. Since then, according to the news release, the company raised $3 million in venture financing and grew from four employees to 21. It will graduate into 2,700 square feet of market-rate space at another property owned by Trinity Real Estate.
