SiMPore, Inc., a nanotechnology company focusing on precision separations, has graduated from the Lennox Tech Enterprise Center incubation program, operated by our supporting member High Tech Rochester. Created just three years ago as a spin-off of the University of Rochester, SiMPore is initially selling filters and substrates for biological applications and grids for electron microscopy.
The company graduates with two rounds of regional "angel capital" investment under its belt. SiMPore now employs 10 people and is recruiting for further growth. For more details, see the HTR press release (also attached as a pdf) and coverage in the Rochester Business Journal.
