RPI relaunches its incubator program as the Emerging Ventures Ecosystem (EVE), based in downtown Troy

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) has relaunched its 30-year-old, pioneering business incubation program as Emerging Ventures Ecosystem (EVE). The relaunch, announced in an RPI news release and covered extensively in local news media, relocates the program headquarters from campus to the university-owned Rice Building on River Street in downtown Troy.

Directed by serial entrepreneur Richard Frederick, the EVE will serve companies at the pre-seed, seed, and early stages of development. Among the resources available to participating companies are mentors and entrepreneurs in residence drawn from RPI, the local business community, and the institute’s pool of graduates.
