Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand visited our member the South Side Innovation Center (SSIC) to convene a roundtable on creating job opportunities for returning veterans.

The SSIC is a microenterprise business incubator operated by the Falcone Center for Entrerpreneurship at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. The Falcone Center has already developed a well regarded entrepreneurial “bootcamp” for returning veterans with disabilities.

For more background on the Senator’s visit, including video, see news coverage in the Post-Standard or The Entrepreneur on Campus blog of Falcone Center executive director Tom Kruczek.
