Innogen Business Accelerator, a new private-sector business-acceleration program with the capacity to make seed-stage investments up to $10,000, has joined the BIA/NYS as our newest member.
Innogen will guide entrepreneurs through a multi-stage process featuring a two-week entrepreneurial bootcamp and follow-on business education offered by Union Graduate College (UGC). Earlier-stage entrepreneurs will be routed to the Pre-Seed Workshop offered through our member the Center for Economic Growth. Those who reach the acceleration stage are eligible for up to $10,000 in investment capital and also branding services from partner Newkey Media Solutions.
The new program begins its life in the building at Union College formerly used by the U-START incubator (which was also a BIA/NYS member). It will soon relocate to the offices of DHA Holdings, Inc., a Schenectady-based supplier to the energy sector that is managing the accelerator program and providing mentoring services. Other program investors listed by Innogen are UGC, Newkey, and Dr. Walter L. Robb, a former GE senior vice president who is active in entrepreneurial activities in the Capital Region.
We warmly welcome Innogen Business Accelerator to membership!
