Cornell names Lou Walcer as first director of the McGovern Family Center for Venture Development in the Life Sciences

Lou Walcer, currently senior commercialization officer at Cleveland Clinic Innovations, has been named the first director of the McGovern Family Center for Venture Development in the Life Sciences at Cornell University, according to an announcement by the Life Sciences CAT at Cornell.

The McGovern Family Center, a founding member of our association, is a wet-lab-equipped biotech business incubator situated in Weill Hall, the new biotechnology and life sciences building at the university’s Ithaca campus. Lou will also be actively engaged with Cornell’s Weill Medical College in New York City. We welcome Lou back to New York State!
