CaterTrax, developer of a hosted order-management system for caterers and food-service providers, graduated from our member HTR’s Lennox Tech Enterprise Center incubator, according to coverage in the Rochester Business Journal.
According to the RBJ, CaterTrax traces its routes to a long-standing local restaurant and caterer, which developed the system to meet its own needs, leveraging the experience of a family member who had worked for a Rochester-based installer of touchscreen systems for restaurants.
The company is now at 39 jobs, up from five six years ago when it won the 2005 Rochester Regional Business Plan contest and gained subsidized admission to the incubator in addition to a cash award. It may add up to 20 jobs over the next year, according to the RBJ.
CaterTrax is now renting 10,000 square feet from a commercial landlord in the City of Rochester, up from 5,000 feet at the incubator, in the nearby Town of Henrietta.
