CEG launches Accelerate518 incubator collaborative in the Capital Region

The Center for Economic Growth, which operates our member the Watervliet Innovation Center incubator and a business-acceleration program, has announced a new collaborative of regional incubation programs to be known as Accelerate518. For more information, see the CEG news release or coverage in the Business Review.

Among the other incubators in our membership that will participate in Accelerate518 are the Siena College incubator program; RPI’s Emerging Ventures Ecosystem; the INVEST incubator at Russell Sage College; the Innogen Business Accelerator affiliated with Union Graduate College; and Linc – the Lighting Cultivator.

As the Business Review notes, this initiative represents a new approach to a previous initiative once called the Tech Valley Incubation Network. The BIA/NYS will do everything we can to support the Accelerate518 regional collaborative and others that may form around the state.
