Student-initiated venture at UB Technology Incubator launches Ambur, an app for paperless restaurant operations

Refulgent Software, a startup founded by a recent grad and other former students at SUNY’s University at Buffalo, has launched Ambur, a multi-platform mobile app for paperless restaurant operations.

The Ambur app is based on development work done at one of the entrepreneurs’ family-owned ethnic restaurants near the university, and the firm moved into our supporting member the UB Technology Incubator in January. Launch of its app has just been covered on ZDNet’s iGeneration blog.

For more information see the university news release. A UB video featuring 2011 UB graduate Ansar Khan is embedded after the break.
