UB Biosciences Incubator welcomes first three tenants

The new Biosciences Incubator operated by our supporting member the University at Buffalo Office of Science, Technology Transfer and Economic Outreach (STOR) has welcomed the first three tenants to its space on the 5th floor of the new Clinical and Translational Research Center/Gates Vascular Institute at the downtown Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, near where UB will be relocating its medical school over the next decade.

The Biosciences Incubator complements the larger UB Technology Incubator at the university’s suburban Amherst campus. Both are now operating at capacity. The new downtown tenants are:

  • AccuTheranostics, previously based at the UB Technology Incubator, which is developing personalized cancer treatments;
  • AndroBioSys, a spin-off created by two researchers at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, which is developing new ways to detect, image and treat early-stage prostate cancer; and
  • Ceno Technologies, a materials science company, which is moving its biological sciences/drug delivery division to the new incubator.
