UB’s Technology Incubator named top global university life-science incubator by group in Stockholm

The University at Buffalo’s Technology Incubator at the north campus in suburban Amherst was named the world’s top university-based life-science incubator in a report released by a Stockholm-based University Business Incubator Index.

The oldest wet-lab-equipped incubator in the state, the UB Technology Incubator has graduated more than 100 startups, nearly 85 percent of which have survived five or more years. A supporting member of BIA/NYS, UB also operates the NYSERDA-supported cleantech incubator Directed Energy from the same space, and a smaller Biosciences Incubator at UB’s clinical and medical research building at the downtown Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

For more information, see the university news release or coverage in The Buffalo News. Congratulations to UB!
