The Worldwide App Inc., developer of a “mobile movie theater” designed for independent (“indie”) films, is the newest tenant/client at our supporting member the SUNY Fredonia Technology Incubator. Founded by Crystal Callahan, a West Coast entertainment/intellectual property lawyer and a graduate of Buffalo’s City Honors School, Worldwide chose the Fredonia incubator because of access to filmmaking talent among students and faculty at the university. For more information, see the university news release.
Together with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, the incubator also announced a partnership between tenant Silicon Wolves Computing Society and the Military Academy at West Point. A West Point cadet will intern this summer at the integrator of high-performance computer systems, according to a news release from Sen. Gillibrand.
