The Corridor, a Long Island “journal of strategic alliances,” carries an excellent profile of the NYSERDA-sponsored Clean Energy Business Incubator at our supporting member Stony Brook Univrsity Incubator Programs. Among the key points:
- CEBIP operates from incubator space set aside at the university’s Advanced Energy Research & Technology Center, but its 13 clients are spread across three of the university’s four incubator sites, and others receive services wherever they are based without being physically resident on campus;
- Stony Brook’s flagship Long Island High Technology Incubator will add a 1,000 square-foot coworking space that will serve earlier-stage clients of CEBIP and the other incubator programs, providing opportunity for companies to mingle and build on a common culture of entrepreneurship.
