BNMC Innovation Center announces plan for new coworking space “dig”

A new co-working space branded “dig” — short for “design innovation garage” — will open at our member the Thomas Beecher Jr. Innovation Center, which already offers both incubator suites and short-term, flexible leases on both office and laboratory space at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

Situated in a corner of the rehabbed former Trico Products building immediately adjacent to the historic Ulrich’s Tavern, dig was designed by faculty and students at the UB Department of Architecture and intends to focus on design-oriented and other social entrepreneurs, especially students recently graduated from the region’s colleges. The introductory monthly rate will be $100 with day passes available from $15.

For more information including artists’ renders of the new space, see the BNMC news release or coverage in Buffalo Rising.
