Six student teams will take part in a 10-week summer launchpad that simulates a private venture accelerator. The Saunders Summer Startup is hosted at our member RIT Venture Creations.
The program represents a collaboration between the incubator and Simone Center for Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which also operates an extended-stay student incubator at Venture Creations during the academic year. Each team can receive up to $3,000 per student member for the summer, simulating the investments made by venture accelerators in startup teams.
For more information and a list of the teams, spanning both software apps and engineering technologies, see the university news release.
