The Zahn Innovation Center announced winners of the four cash prizes awarded annually to startups that were planned by students, alumni, faculty, and staff in the City College community, and that were incubated with seed funding at the Zahn Center:
- The $50,000 Kaylie Hardware Prize went to VivoZ Biolabs LLC, aiming to help oncologists with better decisions on cancer treatments;
- The $30,000 Zahn Social Innovation Prize went to HAST, an app to help families stay connected on healthier lifestyle goals;
- The $30,000 Zahn Entrepreneurship Prize went to Build on the Go, a mobile app to manage construction projects; and
- The $30,000 Standard Chartered Women’s Entrepreneurs’ Prize went to Cubbies, developing bamboo cloth diapers.
