Nine teams in the SBA-funded Southern Tier Hardware Accelerator demo their innovations before crowd of 150 including U.S. Rep. Tom Reed

Nine startup teams whose innovations involve physical products pitched at a demo day organized at the conclusion of this summer’s Southern Tier Hardware Accelerator, organized by our member the Southern Tier Startup Alliance, the state-designated Innovation Hot Spot consortium for the Southern Tier.

The program, funded by the federal Small Business Administration, gave the teams access to prototyping tools housed at the Rev: Ithaca Startup Works incubator, at the same time the entrepreneurs were stepped through a rigorous accelerator process managed by entrepreneur in residence Ken Rother.

According to local coverage, the event attracted a crowd of 150 including U.S. Rep. Tom Reed (R-23rd CD). For more information, see coverage on the STSA website as well in the Cornell Chronicle, The Ithaca Voice, and The Ithaca Journal
