NYC ACRE tenant Agrilyst wins TechCrunch Disrupt Cup

Agrilyst, a tenant of the NYC ACRE cleantech incubator at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, won the $50,000 “Disrupt Cup” at the 2015 TechCrunch Disrupt conference, according to a story in TechCrunch.

Agrilyst provides a platform that allows operators of indoor farms (greenhouses) to collect and manage sensor data for more efficient and cost-effective operation. TechCrunch profiled the company in detail here including specific credit to NYC ACRE.

NYC ACRE is a clean energy and resiliency-focused incubator supported by NYSERDA and NYC, situated at NYU Polytechnic’s Urban Future Lab in downtown Brooklyn’s MetroTech Center.
