Two acquisitions among 2015 milestones for UB Technology Incubator

Two companies that either reside in or trace their roots to the UB Technology Incubator were acquired during 2015, according to a year-end review of six acquisitions, funding rounds, and federal funding published by the University at Buffalo news office.

Acquired were Refulgent Systems, developer of the Ambur app for restaurant management, and Cloud62, a Salesforce.com implementation partner. The former was acquired by competitor ShopKeep, based in New York City, and the latter by a Chicago-based consultancy.

Separately, UB also published summaries of the companies admitted into other UB-affiliated space as part of the (previously reported) most recent round of approvals under the state’s tax-free START-UP NY program.
